Sustainability.pngXeros continues to rake in the accolades!  We are proud to announce that Xeros’ Symphony Project, the planet’s first sustainable collaborative laundry project, has been named Sustainability Product of the Year in the 2017 Sustainability Awards program by the Business Intelligence Group.

Xeros Recognized for Sustainability Innovation and Leadership

The Sustainability Awards honor those people, teams and organizations that have made sustainability an integral part of their business practice or overall mission.

“We are so proud to reward and recognize Xeros for their sustainability efforts and smart business strategy,” said Russ Fordyce, managing director, Business Intelligence Group. “Their innovation and leadership serve as a high benchmark for other organizations and leaders around the globe. Congratulations!”

Xeros was in the company of other industry leaders including Air Canada, AT&T, Dow, Ecolab, and Oracle who were also recognized in this prestigious awards program.

The Symphony Project is Transforming Laundry

The Symphony Project takes Xeros’ innovative water saving polymer science and retrofits it into existing machinery to transform conventional commercial washing machines into polymer cleaning systems.  It is compatible with nearly any size or brand of conventional commercial washing extractors.  The new systems enables commercial manufactures to offer their customers a more sustainable laundry system with significant operational and end-user benefits including water and energy savings, extended linen life, and superior cleaning to laundry room operators.

Tried and tested, Xeros polymer science can reduce water usage by up to 80% and, since polymer cleaning requires very little hot water, the carbon output from laundry rooms can also be reduced by over 83%.

The Xeros Symphony Project is uniquely positioned to help the laundry industry save billions of gallons of water per year while significantly reducing heating power, effluent production and chemical use for a much greener cleaner.

The Business Intelligence Group

The Business Intelligence Group was founded with the mission of recognizing true talent and superior performance in the business world. Unlike other industry award programs, business executives—those with experience and knowledge—judge the programs. The organization’s proprietary and unique scoring system selectively measures performance across multiple business domains and then rewards those companies whose achievements stand above those of their peers.
