Nothing much has changed in the world of domestic laundry since the 50’s.
A slow process of evolution has given us the machines we have today. For most people, this means great cleaning and convenience, so is there room for improvement?
The Xeros Domestic system R&D team are sure there is and are dedicated to delivering it. We have taken the bead cleaning technology platform proven by our commercial laundry team and are enhancing it to give you a Xeros system that is perfect for home use. We are focused on multiple benefits – superior cleaning for less cost; simplifying and shortening the laundry programmes including mixing colours and whites; and greater fabric care so your clothes look new for longer. The Xeros bead cleaning platform means we can explore enhancements impossible with conventional washing technology.
Our closely knit product development team has worked on machine concepts to deliver a solution that fits a domestic machine footprint. Through a process of thinking, prototyping, testing (sometimes even breaking!), we have questioned and answered the challenges presented with proven innovative solutions. These solutions address how the machine is engineered and manufactured without introducing new manufacturing processes and assembly methods.
The revolution of the bead cleaning technology can deliver benefits on the outside of the machine as well as on the inside. From the outset we have considered that the Xeros machine will have a stunning visual appearance that will enable it to stand out from competing products in the market, delivering a whole new and improved consumer experience. The ‘sea of sameness’ currently available to the consumer will soon have a very noticeable, unique and attractive alternative offering!
More development is needed before we are ready, and Xeros will look outside for partners to finalise the components for manufacture, cost, assembly and quality. Partners who, like Xeros, have the ambition, ingenuity and tenacity to deliver this revolution in domestic laundry to the marketplace in the near future.
